Transformative Touch is much more than touch therapy. You will discover that physicality is a living creation and is not confined to what you may see or believe about Life. You are viewed in your totality and then physically engaged with from that space, so that the you are better able to relate to yourself and others with a deeper and clearer resonance. Upon entering this space of totalness you will recognize that you are able to sustain a greater knowing and understanding of what Life really is and wants to be. Life grows as you develop your relationship with it. Aromatherapy is an ancient practice using essential oils. The transformation process is supported through the application of oils to the skin and by stimulating the sense of smell. The oils may be used alone or in combination with massage and bodywork, aiding in rebalancing the body, mind and spirit. What a great way to relieve stress, relax and provide support for the immune system. *Please note: not all essential oils are created equal. Look for essential oils that are of therapeutic grade only, you have to ask. The therapeutic grades should be free from all chemical fillers, which may alter the true nature of the essential oil. I have tried many “over the counter” brands of essential oils in the past, and what I have found is that only Young Living Essential Oils carries the essential oils that are of the purest and highest quality available. Cranial-Sacral Therapy is a technique that focuses on the movement of the cranial structures. Most people think of their skulls as being one solid bone, however the skull is comprised of 22 bones, all of which were originally designed to float in an interlocking manner. The cranium is a fluid yet stable structure. The overall integrity of the human form can be affected by the function of the cranial-sacral system. I assess the supporting structures of the cranial-sacral systems for ease of movement, and then gently influence those supporting structures, allowing the innate healing mechanism of your body to create a shift and then balance. This is a gentle yet profound technique. Healing Touch / Energy Work is an opportunity to experience hands on healing. Universal life energy moves through my hands allowing the charkas to align, bringing vital energy to the body. Typically the experience is profoundly calming and relaxing or you may feel refreshed and invigorated. Holographic Memory Release (HMR) is an empowering approach to wholeness that restores the necessary vital capacity to the body/mind continuum. This gentle therapy is a unique blend of holography, principles of Chinese medicine, chiropractic and hypnotherapy. As an HMR practitioner, I am able to quickly locate specific holographic “touch points” which correlate to whole-body micro-systems. Through very light and specific digital contacts, tension patterns, which have been stored in the body/mind continuum, are released and the body/mind learns to repattern cellular memory. Massage in my practice is an integrated process. Combining the gentle fluidity of Swedish with the slow, focused and observant qualities of deep tissue. The “no pain, no gain' theory can be counter productive when addressing long standing patterns of stress and tension. In fact, the more subtle and gentle modalities can create a profound shift as the body/mind is supported in self-restoration. Pregnancy Massage is an opportunity for women to experience physical and emotional support during pregnancy. You may notice low back pain or sore hips as increasingly your center of gravity shifts and as your pelvis relaxes prior to labor. Massage at this time assists in alleviating discomfort, muscle tension, general swelling and stress. Plus, utilizing a comfortable body cushion, you have the opportunity to lie on your belly. Raindrop Therapy is a technique, which involves the dropping of essential oils directly onto the spine. The oils are then worked into the back and over the spine using a series of light strokes. This stimulates the energy impulses and aids in dispersing the oils, allowing the nervous system to assimilate them. Thus the body is supported as it brings itself into alignment and balance. Plan on an hour session. Keep in mind that the affects of the oils may last for up to a week or more after application. Reflexology is a technique using the thumb and fingers to activate the many nerve endings in the hands and feet. These nerve endings correspond to all parts of the body. This technique may assist in stimulating, relaxing or balancing those areas of the body that may be out of synch. Sound Healing / Tuning Forks are modalities utilizing sound waves to balance and harmonize the body. Consider those occasions where music brought tears to your eyes or motivated you while trying to complete a project. Remember what you felt as someone ran their fingernails down the chalkboard. The body can go out of tune just as a piano does, and as with a piano, the use of tuning forks can facilitate a shift and balance. Call it a low tech version of ultrasound. Music, vocalization, toning and tuning forks are all methods that assist the body in restoring harmony and balance. Courses / Programs focus on Living Healthy and Living Consciously. Their small group format allows us to discuss and/or experience topics such as: the power of thoughts and words, breath and meditation, nutrition, essential oils, energy work and working with energy, and consciousness. Alchemical Coaching is based on the premise that everything is energy…and if everything is energy, then we can move into a dance with it and bring it graciously, delightfully and powerfully into play. It is also based on the alchemy of consciousness and creation, which brings a whole new level to the coaching dance. There is a magnificent brilliance waiting to be uncovered as we share in this dance. We recognize the greatest, deepest, most profound potential in each person, moment and situation. Cancellations: Please grant me the courtesy of a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel an appointment. This allows me to schedule other clients in need of service. At some point it could be you waiting to get an appointment in a time of need. Contraindications: Under certain medical conditions, massage or bodywork may not be advised. An example would be when fever is present, indicating an infection or if flu-like symptoms are present. If a massage or bodywork could be potentially harmful to your condition, I have the right to decline the session. If in doubt please inquire and we can consult on the most appropriate course of action. Also, be aware that it is never advisable to have a massage under the influence of alcohol or other chemical substances. Insurance: I do not handle insurance forms. However, I will be glad to give you a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company or flex plan for possible payment. Returned check fees: There is a service fee of $35 for any returned checks. Types of payment accepted: Cash, Check, VISA, Master Card and Discover.
Scheduling an appointment in advance is highly recommended, especially if you are interested in an evening appointment.
